João Leite has always been connected to the sea, through surfing, spearfishing, and working as a lifeguard. His strong connection with the ocean made it easy to choose to become a professional diver, a decision that marked the beginning of a journey full of discoveries and transformations.
He is also a Sound Healing practitioner, using the powerful crystalline sounds in his sessions to promote transformation and transmutation. His interest in psychology, theology, and studies of altered states of consciousness led him to deepen his journey of self-knowledge. In addition, for a long time he divided his time between Portugal, the Netherlands, and Denmark, where he had the opportunity to meet inspiring teachers and fellow travellers who helped him deepen his understanding of himself and the world.
Since the beginning of his career as a professional diver in 2006, he has dived in different parts of the world, working on rigs, diving in the fjords of Norway, exploring shipwrecks, or just contemplating some of the most beautiful places on Earth. In 2018, his ion for meditation and the teachings of masters such as J Krishnamurti, David Bohm, and Ram Dass led him to create Mindfloat, a practice that combines his knowledge of water, sound, and deep relaxation.
Currently, João Leite leads Sound Healing and Mindfloat sessions at a national and international level, as a path to peace, harmony, and joy.
