This hotel is themed around sculpture and is already operating with 69 rooms, an outdoor and indoor pool, Satsanga Spa, NEP Kids Club and playground, event hall with capacity for 350 people, library, chapel, museum space, buffet restaurant, and Massa Fina pizzeria.
The offer also includes an on-site winery and vineyard, open to the public for visits and tastings of Paço do Curutelo wines, produced on the estate. With a production capacity of over 200,000 bottles, the winery represents a €3.4 million investment by Xvinus, a company owned by the Vila Galé and Madre groups.
The Vila Galé Collection Ponte de Lima Vineyards is part of a shared strategy between the two groups to develop wine tourism projects in different regions of the country, such as the Val Moreira wine brand and the Vila Galé Douro Vineyards Hotel.
Thanks to its prime location, just minutes from Ponte de Lima’s historic centre, and its setting in a region where nature, culture, and Vinho Verde come together, the hotel proudly reflects the identity of the Alto Minho.
The project combines the construction of a new hotel with the preservation and enhancement of the region’s historical and natural heritage, and is part of a 57-hectare estate where the Paço do Curutelo is located – a building nearly 900 years old, classified as a Property of Public Interest since 1977.
